DPS Fingerprinting – Leave ample time

According to the most recent update, DPS says it takes between six to eight weeks to process the background checks and wants to remind people to leave ample time before their start date according to AZ Family. AZ DPS Backlog of Fingerprint Clearance Cards

Friday’s Arizona Republic spelled out some grim news for those awaiting their clearance from AZ Department of Public Safety. Here it is: There exists a backlog of 12,000 applicants and it rejected more than 7,000 fingerprint cards in the past three months for quality issues.  (Source: Arizona Department of Public Safety, Published at AZ Central).
