If you are at all familiar with the Fingerprint Clearance Card (FCC) issued by the Department of Public Safety (AZ) then you might have heard about Identity Verified Prints or IVPs. They are only for people applying for certification throug the AZ Department of Education, charter school instructors or tutors and teacher preparation programs (all mandated by legislation). It’s very important that IVPs be completed properly to avoid delays in your application. Once your application, fingerprint card (that’s where we come in) and your money order (made payable to DPS) are mailed into DPS they will begin a fingerprint-based background check. If your clearance is approved, you will be issued a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number on it. When your FCC expires in six years you will not need to send in a new set of fingerprints with your application for renewal. Arizona Livescan offers digital fingerprinting; AZ DPS processes the FCC Application and issues the FCC. Questions? Please call us at 602-246-3444.
